L'absence de HUD est très intelligente, avec toutes les infos nécessaires directement sur le costume de l'Aragami. mais c'est classique, et tout le développement de l'histoire est ridicule, prévisible et même gênant parfois. D'autre part d'un point de vue lore : on représente l'ombre qui doit affronter les soldats de lumière. cependant les modèles 3D sont vraiment pauvres, les textures moches et les animations infâmes, ce qui gêne beaucoup à l'immersion. Les 3 niveaux de luminosité et le système de mana sont plutôt bien pensés et pas frustrants car toujours clairs. D'une part d'un point de vue visuel, notre personnage change de couleur selon la lumière sous laquelle il se trouve, ce qui rend clair à l'écran notre niveau de discrétion. The puzzles felt promising at the beginning but later you see how shallow they are by putting "blocks" in places to keep you from actually using your powers like you should be able to (ie, teleport). Doesn't seem they could spend the time to make a decent AI so they just made it "hard" by making them always know where you are). It's shallow, the story is predictable, the Boss AI is _really_ obnoxious (ie, they "know" where you are. ![]() The majority of the skills are boring or feel more cumbersome than their worth, the UI is a bit clunky, spending time searching all over the maps to get upgrade points is not worth it and the skill cooldowns don't work properly! There was such potential here to be a great game I don't want to bash too hard on it because it's a small developer. It starts off really well, strong and pretty promising but then just falls flat. Hopefully, the devs will improve level design in Aragami 2, but right now the game feels really boring and bland.Ħh 23m PlayedAs much as I wanted to enjoy this game and wanted to recommend it, I just can't. ![]() You still can play it since the core gameplay is okayish, but consider buying it only if you finished all the classic stealth games and have nothing else to do. So bottom line, Aragami is really lacking in level design, variety and replayability. Like character jumping to an incorrect location or guards noticing you killing their dead buddy miles away in a shadow. Why add additional mission requirements or restrictions like in Thief or Hitman on harder difficulties when you can simply make enemies super vigilant and deadly, right? Oh, and there are some bugs around that can easily make you discovered or killed. That and "hard" mode when enemies notice you almost instantly, which I think is the cheapest way to make the game harder. This lack of explanation is probably the only thing that makes Aragami somewhat difficult. Welcome to replaying the whole checkpoint and eliminating a dozen enemies over again. Since light makes you more visible and drains your shadow energy (it's required for skills), I thought it's ok to move near this wisp like thingy and it would only reveal my character. For instance, on one level you encounter floating lights (they look kinda like wisps). Finally, the game doesn't explain new mechanics even though there are very few of them. Especially if you are going for Oni achievement which means killing every one: there are dozens of enemies on every location (chapter 6 already has 77 on normal!), and getting rid of everyone is really tedious. And since there are only a couple enemy types (basically melee guys and archers), the game quickly turns into a repetitve chore. ability points) but those skills also provide little to no variety and also have very limited number of uses.
